Within the sea reside many treasures that were lost and buried deep inside it. Lost ships became stories, folklores and legends, and hid treasures, bones, artefacts, and some beautiful pieces of oak too. The LED table lamp is handmade from the same unique piece of driftwood oak, recovered from the shallow coastal areas of the Baltic Sea.
Unique both in origin and idea
Made from driftwood oak, the Driftwood Table Lamp features a very unique styling and texture. The texture of the wood is the result of years of drifting, and the years of water-conditioning lend it the colour too. The driftwood is suspected to have originated from one of the many ships that sunk in the Baltic Sea, and has spent around 300-500 years underwater to achieve its texture and colour.
Design is in the details
The rare driftwood oak is best complemented by handmade wrought iron details, and offers an aesthetically pleasing downward facing light. The wrought iron neck can be used to position/bend the lamp. Although the lamp is made from material that is suspected to have origi shipwrecks, no shipwrecks were scavenged or harmed to make this desk lamp.
