A piece of past, the wrought iron forged clock features a very unique design, combining the raw appeal of unfinished iron with ornate hour, minute and second hands. Every timepiece is unique, in construction, edges and details. Although, all of them are made almost identical with same specifications, the handcrafted clocks may differ in terms of finish and measurements.
An ancient art, rejuvenated
Forged parts, made from wrought iron are widely used in machines which require high strength; since, wrought iron is tough, malleable, ductile, corrosion-resistant and easily welded. Wrought iron, the most common form of malleable iron was used before the development of effective methods of steel making.
